Transpatch

How does the Transpatch affect hospital staff?

The application of the Transpatch is much more convenient than a belt. Furthermore, staff will not have to manually hold the transducer to a patient’s abdomen during epidural, as the Transpatch does not interfere with the area of insertion of the epidural.

How does the Transpatch compare to the use of a belt?

The Transpatch is similar to a belt in purpose only. Like the belt, the Transpatch can be used to secure a transducer to the abdomen. Unlike the belt, the Transpatch will not interfere with the administration of an epidural.
